Preventive maintenance is the cheapest work you'll ever have done on a vehicle. Eagles 4x4 Offroad in Dasmariñas, Cavite and Metro Manila does PMS for all vehicles such as sedans, hatchbacks, vans, SUVs and 4x4 pickups. We're an off-road shop, so we also know what trail use does to a truck: more dust, more water, more heat, more vibration, which means the intervals that suit a daily commuter don't suit a vehicle that leaves the pavement.
What we check:
- Fluids: engine oil, coolant, brake, transmission, differential and transfer case
- Filters: oil, air and fuel
- Belts and hoses, for cracking, glazing and tension
- Battery condition and terminals
- Brakes, tires and pressures
- Underbody, for leaks and loose or damaged fasteners
Why it matters more on a modified truck:
Bigger tires, a lift, a winch and a steel bumper all add weight and load. Brakes work harder, bearings work harder, and the front end carries more than it was designed to. A truck that has been built up needs checking more often than a stock one, not less.
How often should you have a PMS done?
Most vehicles in the Philippines need a PMS every 5,000 to 10,000 km or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Daily city driving with heavy traffic sits at the shorter end, stop-and-go is harder on oil and brakes than open highway. If your truck sees regular trail use, tighten that to every 5,000 km, and bring it in sooner after a wet or muddy trip.

Around 1.5 hours for a standard check. If we find something that needs attention, we will tell you what it is, what it costs and how urgent it is before doing any of it.

EN: Yes, a lift kit, bigger tires, a winch and a steel bumper add weight and stress, so brakes, bearings and suspension components wear faster than stock. T: Oo. Dahil sa dagdag na bigat ng lift, malalaking gulong, winch at steel bumper, mas mabilis mauubos ang brakes, bearings at suspension parts.
